It is the Taisho Period (i.e. 1912-1926). Tanjiro Kamado is living a modest but blissful life in the mountains with his family. One day, when he returns from selling charcoal in town, he finds the remains of his slaughtered family in pools of blood after a demon attack. Tanjiro rushes down the snowy mountain with the sole survivor, his sister Nezuko, on his back. But on the way, Nezuko suddenly snarls, turning on Tanjiro.

demon slayer is a peak anime. its not just carried by graphics. it has peak osts, depth, plot, characters, backstories, fights everything. its a great anime and I KNOW SOME OF U MOFOS LOVED IT WHEN U FIRST SAW IT BUT STARTED FORCE HATING ON IT JUST CUZ SOME PPL STARTED SAYING SHI ABOUT IT. whew. if u hate it that much then dont watch.

Why all the hate. I mean it's not the deepest anime but it does it's job brilliantly. The animation, the fights and the moments are amazing. If you are looking for something with more depth than you can watch monster or fmab.
