I like s1 and s2 equally the same maybe s2 even a little more idk why peoppe hating so much like im happy I can see them acting all cute even if its cringe because most animes end the second they get together and this is just so wholesome (even if mahiru is a little echi) If anything it just shows how much they love eachother which I love to watch

season 2 is just turning into a worse version of Horimiya. Horimiya hits so hard but this season feels lacking. idk if it's the voice acting or the interactions but something's definitely missing

I may have found a reason WHY people don't like season 2 as much as season 1, and that reason is that it's awkward. What I mean by this is that both Amane and Mahiru have such intimate moments between each other that it's awkward for us to watch.

Seriously I don't know why I myself and all of the people are hating this season , tbh this season is lacking something. I have watched 130+ romance animes, if I want say about similar plot with S2 tonikawa kawai comes . Tonikawa kawai S1 Ep1 starts with marriage, the entire series is more filrtry and bit of corny than the angel next door S2 but no one find that boring or titled as "corny" . But after the ep 3 of angel next door dropped people started to say this season corny . I myself don't know why I found this season boring but I am sure that this season is lacking something very important and that is way I myself and many people found it boring

I started watching anime in late 2024 and almost like any other boy in my age I really didn't like the concept of romance shows in general but stuff like angel next door, alya, more than a married couple but not lovers, tomo-chan is a girl got me addicted to this genre and I've finished around 140 rom titles by now So I was really excited to see this series returning but atp im just forcing my self to watch this just to know what's happening next bcs I loved the first season. It could be just me but amane's dialogs and behavior this season is so corny. I've seen worse rom than this but I don't think this adaptation gave the series justice as I've heard from my other friends who've read the novel I really just hope alya s2 and blue box s2 dont destroy my anticipation like this one did

A large part of people losing interest in S2 is because I think we are getting more low drama high sweetness romances lately so this one just gets saturated because of them

This season feels kinda underwhealimg like dont get me wrong s2 is ahh comapared to s1. like for example in i became friends with the 2nd prettiest that shit still makes giggle and kick my feet even after they started dating in manga but for angle nextdoor it feels kinda empty
