I'm genuinely surprised to see comments from two months ago on this anime 😂.
As for all the "pedo" comments, I think people are oversimplifying a very weird fictional premise. I'm not supporting pedophilia in real life at all, but this is a fantasy story with reincarnation as its core concept.
Rudeus isn't walking around in his old body. He was literally reborn and grew up again, and the people around him, including Eris, are also children of that world. It's a morally messy concept, and I completely understand why some people are uncomfortable with it.
That said, it's still fiction. Not every story is meant to reflect or justify real life. If the premise isn't for you, that's completely fair. But calling everyone who enjoys the series a pedophile feels like a huge stretch. It's okay to dislike the story and move on without assuming the worst about the people watching it.
TL;DR: It's fiction. Rudeus was reborn and grew up alongside Eris. He only kept his past life's memories, not his old body or life.
It's just my opinion, guys; he is not the same dude in the same body.

If you verily think Rudeus is a pedophile, you watched MT off of TikTok. Rudeus ONLY has the memories of his past life. That’s it! He has the body of a child, and thus the brain of one. When you were in elementary or middle school, you 100% had a crush on someone your age, just as much as you did Madison Beer. Obviously Rudeus is a pervert but he is not nearly as bad as people make him out to be. Also, MT, in my opinion, is a story of GROWTH, not change. So him having that personality of his past life while still growing to be a respectable man is essential to the story

This show is peakkk for its characters,story,world building,adventures and lots of sensitive topics it touches like depression and anxiety.

I think this season we will have a very dark thing called the dark timeline where rudeus losses all his wives roxy gets sick and becaomes crystalized sylphie will get hanged and crows will eat her Eris will get bruttally kit katted sacrafasing herself for rudeus the rudeus becomes rlly depressed and trains to create a new spell that can go back at time and tells the main story rudeus to do three things
1.Consult with nanoshino
2.write a letter to Eris
3.Doubt hitogami(man-god) but never oppose him
Then the dark timeline rudeus dies after that at the age of 75

I understand why people criticize Mushoku Tensei. Some scenes can be interpreted as pedophilic, and those scenes make some viewers uncomfortable. However, I don't think those scenes accurately represent the entire series, because they are a small part of a much larger story focused on world-building, character development, adventure, and personal growth. If those scenes ruin the experience for you, that's completely valid, and you may decide not to watch the show. But I don't think it's fair to reduce the entire anime to those scenes alone or claim that anyone who enjoys the series necessarily supports pedophilia.
